Kamehameha Schools has planned a mixed-use, mixed-income neighborhood featuring a wide range of housing including low-rise residences and high-rise towers, inviting green spaces, complete streets, networked walking paths and unique retail experiences.
“Six Eighty” Ala Moana Blvd, on Block F, is a mid-century office building converted into “affordable” 54 loft-style studio & 1-bedroom rental apartments. This was Kamehameha Schools' first completed project in 2012. “400 Keawe,” on Block B1, is a mid-range low-rise condominium w/95 1,2 & 3-bedroom residences, by Castle & Cooke Hawaii. It was built in conjunction and adjacent to a new “mid-range” rental project, self-developed by Kamehameha Schools next door on Block B2. It opened in the Spring/Summer of 2016. “The Collection,” on Block E, is a mid-luxury residential condominium w/a wide variety of 450 studio, 1, 2 & 3-bedroom residences by A&B Properties. It was completed in Dec 2016. “Keauhou Place,” on block A1, another mid-luxury residential condominium also w/a wide variety of 423 1, 2 & 3-bedroom residences, by Stanford Carr Development. It is currently under construction and is expected to be completed at the end of 2017. It also includes the commercial/retail/restaurant complex called “Keauhou Lane” with new rentals on block A2. Finally, “SALT at Kaka’ako,” is 85,000 sq. ft. of vibrant retail, restaurant & mixed-use space is now open and is the current epicenter of commercial activity in “Our Kaka’ako!”
